Although the traditional use for this Moroccan flavor profile of cloves, cumin, cardamom and some cinnamon is most commonly used on lamb, fish, chicken, and roasted meats, it is so much more.

At Collected Foods, we know you can use Ras El Hanout on a leg of lamb. But we recommend that you use it on grilled eggplant. In fact, it works great on vegetables! Our version is lightened up with some dried mint which makes it very flavorful.

But please use this olde traditional spice with more than just meat and vegetables. Use it with couscous, savory stews, and then take it in a different direction with pumpkin pie and apple crisp. You won't be disappointed.
