Collected Foods kitchen recipe.
Cheese Buldak (Fire Chicken): Weeknight Korean heat with clean, layered chili flavor. Collected Foods Korean Chili is the flavor driver.
Serves: 4
Why this spice: Collected Foods Korean Chili turns gochujang butter into a fiery, cheese-pulling skillet chicken.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb boneless chicken thighs, bite-size
- 2 Tbsp gochujang
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Collected Foods Korean Chili (Gochugaru)
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Cooked rice, to serve
Directions
- Mix gochujang, gochugaru, soy, honey, sesame oil, and garlic. Toss with chicken; marinate 20 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high. Add chicken and marinade; cook 10–12 minutes until sticky and cooked through.
- Scatter mozzarella over the pan, cover, and melt 1–2 minutes.
- Top with green onions. Serve over rice with extra gochugaru if you want more fire.
- Taste and adjust salt or spice before serving.
