Ingredients
- 3/4 cup neutral oil (grapeseed or canola)
- 3 Tbsp Collected Foods Korean Chili (Gochugaru)
- 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- Pinch salt
Directions
- Place gochugaru, sesame seeds, garlic, soy, sugar, and salt in a heatproof bowl.
- Warm oil until shimmering (about 325°F)—hot but not smoking.
- Carefully pour oil over spices; it should sizzle. Stir and cool completely.
- Store airtight up to 2 weeks. Spoon over eggs, noodles, roasted veg, or avocado toast.
- Taste and adjust salt or spice before serving.
