Collected Foods kitchen recipe.
Homemade Rose Harissa: North African warmth for trays, stews, and quick sauces. Collected Foods Wild Rose Harissa is the flavor driver.
Serves: makes about 1/3 cup
Why this spice: Wild Rose Harissa already carries chili, spices, and rose—this oil paste makes it spoonable in seconds.
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp Collected Foods Wild Rose Harissa
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp tomato paste
- 1 small garlic clove, grated
- Pinch salt and sugar
Directions
- Stir rose harissa with oil, lemon, tomato paste, garlic, salt, and sugar into a loose paste.
- Rest 10 minutes so the spices bloom in the oil.
- Use as a rub, swirl into yogurt, or thin with more oil as a drizzle.
- Store refrigerated up to 1 week. (CF blend shortcut, not a dried-chili grind from scratch.)
- Taste and adjust salt or spice before serving.
