Serves: 2–4
Why this spice: A generous coat of Collected Foods Tuscan Grill Italian Seasoning forms an herby crust on rib-eye that tastes like an Italian steakhouse grill.
Ingredients
- 2 rib-eye steaks (1–1.25 inches thick)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Collected Foods Tuscan Grill Italian Seasoning
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 garlic cloves, smashed
- Fresh rosemary sprig, optional
Directions
- Pat steaks dry. Rub with oil, Tuscan Grill seasoning, salt, and pepper. Rest at room temp 20 minutes.
- Heat a cast-iron skillet or grill to high. Sear steaks 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust for thickness).
- In the last minute, add butter, garlic, and rosemary; baste steaks.
- Rest 5–8 minutes. Slice against the grain and spoon pan butter over the top.
