Ingredients
- 1.75 cups flour
- 1.5 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp Collected Foods Saigon Cinnamon, divided
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup apple cider, reduced to 3 tbsp if watery
- 1/2 cup sugar + 1/3 cup for coating
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup applesauce or milk
- 4 tbsp melted butter for coating
Directions
- Heat oven to 350°F. Whisk flour, baking powder, 1 tsp Saigon Cinnamon, and salt.
- Mix cider, sugars, oil, egg, and applesauce; fold into dry ingredients. Pipe into a greased doughnut pan.
- Bake 10–12 minutes. Mix remaining sugar with 1 tsp Saigon Cinnamon. Brush warm doughnuts with butter and toss in cinnamon sugar.
