Homemade Cinnamon Rolls with Speculoos Filling

Homemade Cinnamon Rolls with Speculoos Filling

Collected Foods kitchen recipe.

Homemade Cinnamon Rolls with Speculoos Filling: Bakery-style warmth from the spice drawer, not a mix. Collected Foods Saigon Cinnamon is the flavor driver.

Serves: 12 rolls

Why this spice: Collected Foods Saigon Cinnamon is bolder than ordinary cinnamon—perfect for a sticky, fragrant swirl filling.

Ingredients

  • Dough: 3/4 cup warm milk, 2.25 tsp yeast, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 egg, 4 tbsp melted butter, 3 cups flour, 1 tsp salt
  • Filling: 4 tbsp softened butter, 2/3 cup brown sugar, 2 tbsp Collected Foods Saigon Cinnamon
  • Icing: 4 oz cream cheese, 2 tbsp butter, 3/4 cup powdered sugar, splash of milk

Directions

  1. Proof yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar. Mix dough ingredients; knead until smooth. Rise 1 hour.
  2. Roll dough into a 12x16-inch rectangle. Spread butter; mix brown sugar and Saigon Cinnamon and sprinkle evenly.
  3. Roll up tightly, cut 12 rolls, place in a buttered pan. Rise 30–40 minutes.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 22–28 minutes until golden. Frost warm rolls with beaten icing.
