Why this spice: A pinch of Collected Foods Bacon Salt in the dough and on top makes chocolate chip cookies sweet-salty with a subtle smoke.
Ingredients
- 2.25 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp Collected Foods Bacon Salt, plus more for topping
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Directions
- Heat oven to 350°F. Whisk flour, baking soda, and Bacon Salt.
- Cream butter and sugars; beat in eggs and vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients, then chips.
- Scoop onto lined sheets. Sprinkle a tiny pinch of Bacon Salt on each mound.
- Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are golden. Cool on the sheet 5 minutes.
